Where do I get on Airport Connect bus at the Airport?

When you arrive at the Sydney Airport, make your way to our help desk called “Travellers Services” and meet our representative there, alternatively you can find our pickup points.

Can I book my trip with the driver?

NO, you can only book your trip by calling office on +61 2 9557 7615 or via email info@airbussydney.com.au. Any booking made by the driver or with driver are not valid.

How much time should I allow to get to the Airport?

If you flying within Australia (Domestic terminal) you will need to allow 2 hours in advance to get to the Airport and 3 hours if its International, this timeframe stands for 1 hour for the trip and 1 hour for your “check in” in Domestic and for International you will need 1 hour for the trip and 2 hours for your “check in”. Airport Connect accept no responsibility for missed flights due to clients not booking the car with enough time to spare. In the event of any flight changes, Airport Connect insist that you reconfirm your return car with the head office, 24 hours before departure.

Does Airport Connect drop off passengers within Sydney CBD?

Airport Connect drop off residents within the Sydney CBD at fixed price servicing Any Sydney’s Hotels/Motel and Backpackers places within CBD, Kings Cross, Darling Harbour, Central area as well as Glebe area. Shuttle Transfers do not operate to private homes or timeshare apartments, but any other Sydney suburbs are quoted on the prices through www.sydneyairport-shuttle.com.au depending on the distance from CBD

Do I need to book/have an Airport Connect ticket?

Yes. You need to book and print your ticket on-line in advance.

What happens when I make a reservation online?

Once you complete your Airport Connect ticket payment online, print out the confirmation slip which you will need to show to the driver.
NOTE: YOU NEED TO CALL +61 2 9557 7615 - 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT ON THE BUS.

What time should I put on online form as a departure or pick/up time?

Basically you will need to enter the time of your flight in this form, but it don’t has to be exact time as we will arrange appropriate time for you to catch your flight once you called us 24 hours in advance.

Do infants count?

Due to new NSW RTA regulations, Infants and children are not allowed to seat on the lap of the parent and therefore do count in all vehicles as one person as they take up a seat on the bus. We strongly recommend parents take their own child seats to ensure adequate safety and to comply with new regulations. As with car rental policy it is also the parent’s responsibility to fit the seat. We do not always have the facility to provide infant or child seats in our vehicles, but as an alternative, child seat can be organised with private transfer for additional price, please enquire within.

What is the difference between private transfer and general shuttle service?

Airport connect offers general shuttle services from Sydney International / Domestic airport to the City Hotels and it takes about an hour to reach your destination due to additional stops at the hotels to drop off other people. Private transfer will take you straight to your destination without any stops. One of our drivers will meet you at the meeting point at the Airport with appropriate sign and walk you to the bus.

Transfer times?

Standard travelling time for shuttle service is 45-50 mins due to additional stops at other hotels. Private transfer takes you straight to the Airport. These times may vary due to traffic or road works/conditions and may affect the direct route of the journey. You will be notified if there is any anticipated delay to your journey.

How much luggage can I take?

Due to space limitations, most buses are able to accommodate each passenger with one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage. If you are travelling with excess luggage, please be aware that extra charges maybe applicable.

Do I need to tip the driver?

If you feel the driver has been friendly and courteous, then a small tip is the norm.

What happens if my holiday details change prior to departure?

You don't have to worry about the changes if you travelling from the airport as Airport Connect buses servicing the airport every half an hour from 6:30am-9:00pm, so you can simply hop on the bus once you arrived. You will need to give us a call on +61 2 9557 7615 as soon as you became aware of the changes to amend your booking if you travelling to the airport.

What happens if I cancel my holiday/flight?

Our service is non-refundable. You can reschedule your reservation and use those funds on your next travel within twelve months from the day of purchase, provided you give us a call to make a new reservation.

Last minute bookings?

To avoid any misunderstandings and inconveniences we strongly recommend to book your transfers 24 hours in advance so we can assure you that we have available seats/transfers for you not to miss your flight, but in case of any emergencies/last minute bookings, give us a call on +61 2 9557 7615 and we will try our best to arrange any available bus.

Will my shuttle transfer take me straight to my hotel entrance?

Yes, the driver will drop you off at the entrance of your hotel where drop off point is available, otherwise any alternative way for the safe stop and unloading.

What is our smoking/drunken/abusive behaviour policy?

Airport Connect operate a complete non smoking policy in all vehicles used. Airport Connect reserves the right to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to be abusive and could pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passenger(s).

When can I use my Airport Connect ticket?

Your ticket has no time limitation and can be used next time you in Sydney if it hasn’t been used.

What happens if my outbound flight is delayed?
